“In Defense of Bioethics” by Robert Baker appears in the Spring 2009 volume of the Journal of Law Medicine and Ethics. The piece was written in response to an article by G. R. Scofield, “What is Medical Ethics Consultation?” which was published in JLME,  Spring of 2008.
